26.57.00 - Organizational Scope and HICS Roles

Development version 26.57.00 adds explicit health-system and facility scope for users in Professional and Enterprise organizations.

Highlights​

  • Users may belong to the health system, one or more facilities, or both.
  • When both types of assignment are selected, an administrator chooses the user's Primary organization in addition to any Primary facility.
  • A system-only user can enter the organization workspace without being added to a facility roster.
  • Tenant Administrators can maintain separate HICS Role sets for the health system and each facility assigned to a user.
  • Facility Administrators remain limited to users and HICS Roles within the facilities they administer.
  • Health-system membership and system-scoped HICS Roles do not grant facility access or active incident authority.
  • Audit history identifies whether a HICS Role change applies to the health system or a facility.
