26.46.00 - NWS Outlooks and Statements

Development version 26.46.00 adds a separate National Weather Service outlooks-and-statements section to the facility weather area for Professional and Enterprise subscribers.

Highlights​

  • Hazardous Weather Outlooks and Special Weather Statements that apply to the facility's forecast or county zone appear in their own section.
  • Each item includes a plain-language summary, issue and validity times, the issuing office, the complete applicable product text, and a link to the official source.
  • Expired and out-of-area products are not displayed.
  • The section refreshes independently and preserves last-known items with a clear warning if the latest check fails.
  • Outlooks and statements remain separate from active watches, warnings, and advisories. They never receive the active-alert banner.
  • Weather information remains advisory and cannot create an incident, select response guidance, activate the HIMT, change an operational period, or add incident activity.
  • Hourly forecasts, general seven-day forecast cards, radar, weather maps, acknowledgements, and outbound notifications remain future capabilities.
